I am SO HAPPY about successfully knitting my first pair of socks!! I finally made it past the heel of the second sock, and it was so much easier to do the second time around. After starting the first sock at least ten times and the second one twice, I finally feel like I sort of know what I’m doing in knitting a basic sock. Now I know how to make my basic garments, including bras and underwear (from upcycled fabrics, no less! Except the socks – I did buy sock yarn).
I made another travel bag/wallet, but this time it was bigger than the last one. The black one was stuffed when I used it, so I wanted more space. Below you can see the embroidery detail I put in – flowers and bright colours as always, on upcycled yellow linen fabric:
